Kay R. Gardner is a Christian leader and speaker who saw God’s plan unfold through her unequally yoked marriage and a cry to Jesus for help. Serving as a pregnancy resource center director for decades, Kay has witnessed how new life in Christ impacts the choice to sustain life in the womb. Over the years, Kay has developed training materials that offer support to advocates for sharing personal testimonies and the Good News of Christ’s message. She has also taught gospel-centered workshops through Care Net and Heartbeat International, and spoken at pro-life conferences in Romania, China, and Russia.
“Kay’s heart for the Gospel and years of experience counseling clients and training PRC advocates have equipped her to create outstanding evangelical training materials . . . Pore over this handbook and prayerfully apply its Christ centered principles within your ministry.”
In pregnancy resource centers across the country, every client who walks through the center’s doorway or calls in crisis carries more than a possible pregnancy. The caller may also be burdened with deeper questions about life and self-worth, as well as faltering hope for her future. She’s feeling alone and scared in her quest to “move on” with her life in a quick-fix world void of lasting peace. Yet, at this tipping point of opportunity, many well-meaning volunteers and staff feel unprepared, even hesitant, to offer spiritual support with those open to hear.
